    Window N90 Dual-core battery test

I have received the retail N90 Dual-core version from Yuandao yesterday and will make several battery test to see how the new RK3066 solution deals with real life conditions.

I started by discharging the battery.

    Firmware: 4.0.4 Build number 20120509.150424

    Charging via AC adapter.

    0% - 13:20
    90% - 20.55
    100% - 22.30

    UPDATE

I will have to put the battery test on hold. The firmware is not stable enough. The battery level indicator is not showing correct value and the device will crash more often when full charged.

I was told there is already a new firmware update ready but i have not got it yet, more updates will be posted tomorrow.

It must have a large battery, or a small charger with this charging time.

See my update in original post.
I will post some first impressions later on.

The main Cons as for now are:
    1. Location of the Power button.
    2. The small cover, covering the ports is difficult to put in place and a little loose.
    3. Firmware is not stable.

The battery is said to be 8000mah and the charger is 12V / 2A

8000mAh seems really good, if they are real stats. It should give 5 hours of work time easily, maybe even 7-8? Anyway, a rly interesting Tablet. Im sure they will get the firmware stable in no time.

Anyway, waiting for your battery testing results!

    Regards.

Like using it here and there to check something on the internet and mail. On standby I had the thing go two full days once and eventually I gave up and plugged it in before bed.

One of the firmwares switched Wifi off during sleep and it really made the battery last. 7-8 hours under stress is right so going from there light use will give it a long battery life.

    N90 - different versions

Long time since an update on this tab ...so maybe this might help. Someone correct me if I am off base.

The N90 in the initial post here was probably this one.
First Review - Window N90 Dual Core II 2 - RK3066 IPS - Purchase at: Merimobiles.com- YouTube It has the power button on the back.

Now we have this video that shows a different N90 with the power button on the edge.
    Window N90 Review - iPadAlternative - YouTube

Then I come to this one at Merimobiles ...with 4.1 Android
Window N90 Dual Core 1.6GHz RK3066 9.7 Inch IPS 1024*768 Jelly Bean 4.1 Dual camera HDMI Bluetooth ...which shows only the camera on the back ...no power button. Must be on the edge.

And this apparently lines up with the Visture V4 shown here ..
Visture V4 RK3066 Quadcore GPU. ...which the only place I have seen it being sold is through Aliexpress.

So ...it looks as if the N90, all with the 8000 mAh battery and 3066 can be had in a variety of form ...now with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ...available at Merimobiles.

    Cheers.
