Angry Pandawill Scammers! You have been warned

Ok so here it goes. I had very good first experience with pandawill when i ordered my paladin, it arrived on 12th day of order placement. Keeping that in mind, i placed an order for Novo 7 Aurora 8 gb white on 16th jan, 2012.

I knew that chinese holidays were gonna start from 21st, so i confirmed with their chat rep, who assured me that he will get it shipped before holidays. this is the chat i did on 16th of january:

    Code:
Robin 23:18:33 yes, we will ship before the vacations
Me 23:18:47 and i will get the tracking # as well, rite?
    Robin 23:20:02 yes
    Me 23:21:12 alrite robin
Me 23:21:22 i am taking your word
Robin 23:21:41 OK, i will ask my colleague to ship fast for you
Well this was their first lie......after that they keep giving me bullshit again and again and again, everytime they told me that my order will be shipped within 3 days, one week, next week etc...Latest chat i had with them 2 days ago, they said they will ship my order this friday. ...this is from a chat i had with one of their reps yesterday:

    Code:
    Me 18:57:21
I placed my order on 16th
    Me 18:57:33
I guess, I'm among the first ones to place the order for this product
    Sven 18:57:37
we will send it to you tomorrow
Above all, they didn't have any supply of aurora tablets but they kept taking orders more and more instead of mentioning that this item is out of stock........Atlast after waiting for around 40 days, i cancelled my order today, waiting for the refund now.........In my recent chats, since they had no intentions to send the tablet, their rude chat reps kept pushing me to go for refund, yeah you keep my money for 40 days and now you are advising me to cancel the order........their customer ethics are below zero......

I wanted to inform you guys to beware and instead of going with them, place your orders with other good sites like merimobile, ownta etc.....Just don't place order with pandawill.....

You can see how they started a false thread and it went to become a headache for them:

    Thanks

They won't scam you for your money but they have been known for selling OEM, fakes and having items in 'IN STOCK' when nobody else does.

I wouldnt go that far and call them scammers.
I mean pre-sale is not really a scam as long as you get your cash back if they cant deliver.

I think the Ainol stock problem is something every reseller has been affected this is a hot topic among Chinese resellers too.

And if Panda sent you wrong unit, you can just contact Paypal and they get you back.

Panda not being honest about their stock and giving misleading information is better description of you problem with them.

btw. the Panda thread is painful to read.

Agreed. Shortage of products seems to be rampant.

So was this a pre-sale where you knew there would be a delay, or was it than when you ordered they 'had' stock?

Ainol has been having a lot of QC problems with the Aurora. Pandawill and other wholesalers have only been getting a few tablets a day so far.

I don't agree with their poor communications, or with taking orders once they knew that the shortages would continue at least through February. However, they have been let down by the Ainol factory. Promised ship dates and quantities have been pushed back repeatedly.

Pandawill reps actually have been picking up their daily tablet shipments from the factory. They have also been viewing the production and QC process in person.

Lets face facts here. ALL chinese wholesalers play fast and loose with the facts. If you really think some clown at Aliexpress has stock when none of the more reputable sellers do, then by all means order from them. Good luck when you receive a fake or something other than what you ordered. (not all Aliexpress vendors are bad, but there are many scammers there-check ratings carefully!)

Everyone who has experience buying from China wholesalers knew up front that if their orders did not ship by mid-January, it would be 3-4 weeks before shipping volumes returned to normal. QC problems have extended that period to about 6 weels for Ainol tablets. It is common practice for sales reps to say they have stock, without even checking. That is normal and expected for the most part. Remember that sites such as Merimobiles are NOT run by Chinese.

There is absolutely no fraud or scam from Pandawill in this case. CNY plus Ainol factory problems are to blame, along with the Chinese attitude that is far more relaxed and forgiving than what we westerners are used to. The Chinese people have been ruled over and subjugated for thousands of years and know a thing or two about patience and acceptance of reality.

If your world is about to implode because your tablet has been delayed a few weeks, then you really need to examine your priorities!

You are always free to get a refund. Pandawill processes refund within 24 hours.

Fajoo24, Pandawill ran out of stock of white Aurora 8GB on the 15th of Jan and offered black substitutions until the 17th when they ran out as well. Afterwards they had a handful of 16GB for those willing to upgrade. By the 19th of Jan all stock was depleted. The final shipment before CNY did not arrive and.......you know the rest of the story.

"If your world is about to implode because your tablet has been delayed a few weeks, then you really need to examine your priorities!" Really no need to be rude! You must be a PW rep or relative by your looooong post/
"The Chinese people have been ruled over and subjugated for thousands of years and know a thing or two about patience and acceptance of reality." Really nice for you to speak for a whole country there!

The harsh reality is that that is not the first tablet/brand that reports about the said Vendor have occurred. The forums are rife with complaints not just about that particular brand, and to cast YOUR net so wide and general about what people must know and what people should know is tantamount to >>>> it starts with an S! Fajoo24 stated his/her experience as they are entitled to with copies of conversations. Obviously he/she is riled and maybe ranting a bit, BUT, he/she is relating his/her experience whether you agree with it or not! I asked whether the Vendor had informed Fajoo24 they were out of stock BEFORE the order was placed to actually establish whether it was, in this instance, a case of FRAUD , or genuine 'issues beyond their control'. But at the same time, communication is all that was really needed. When someone orders a tablet or any item, you don't know the circumstances, it could have been months of saving and planning, also take into account the anticipation of the new item, all this leads to a boiling point when after 40 days you get your money back, awesome- now you have still got no device- could be for school- and have to ramp up to order from someone else. Shheeesh!

If the reputation of Pandawill is so poor.....then it looks good on anyone who still ordered from them.

As for rudeness.........I was simply stating the facts, not directed at anyone in particular.

I certainly am not associated with Pandawill. In fact I am a satisfied customer, having received an Aurora, an Elf and an OEM N7A since Jan 15. In each case the service has been excellent.

I don't see the point of this entire topic if there is no room for an opposing opinion.
