Advertised for the best tablet in the world, arrived as a knock-off, no name, no nothing, not even close to spec; open a paypal dispute.... a complete waste of my time and avoid with a 10 feet pole.

i purchased two pipo tabs from ipadalternative.com both were faulty i had to return them at my own cost and i am now £40.00 out of pocket,also i had to recover my money for the tabs through paypal resolution centre. to have two tabs shipped faulty is not a co-incidence so why not add them to the list

I understand your frustration receiving two faulty units from same seller, but i hope you understand that shipping these devices over half a globe involves some risks even when buying from the biggest online store in the world. If we would have to list all sellers on individual cases we would have to list them all.

Im trying to list sellers that use bad methods as their business model, like spamming forums, offering 0 after sale support, sending empty boxes or false advertisement in order to fool the buyer.

ipadalternative has been our sponsor for very long time and i have followed their operations and reputation and i can say they offer one of the better services, that said that does not mean it cant be improved.

receiving an empty box or a useless tablet what is the difference and i do not except your argument about the shipping if they are packed proper there should be no problem,this is not an individual case other people have asked for there name to be added but as there your sponsor there must be money involved so you are bound to be biased so there is no chance of them being added to the list,personally i reckon there goods are poor quality clones the amount of people complainng about there products breaking down is crazy and most of the posts never see light of day as they are taken down to avoid emarrasment

Hey larryba- did you get the refund- excluding the postage? Was any amelioration offered- future discounts etc?

(I don't think Andropos is protective of sponsors over forum members though- i have seen with others that he has assisted in getting the members remediation with Vendors. )

i was refunded for the tabs but not for the return postage and i had to go through paypal to get the refund but still £40.00 out of pocket wish i had never heard of IPADALTERNATIVE .COM

As far as i know no seller will refund you the return postage, try buying something of Amazon with shipping to other continent. I think you should read the return policy BEFORE you place the order next time for any seller.

Unfortunately refunds are one of the things us china buyers have to bite the bullet with.
Contractually near enough any full refund will be only the value of the item, now if the device is faulty under the warranty, its your discretion on how you return the product back to them under warranty. Near enough every company has some form of returns policy, some provide free service some don't, and the smaller the firm the less likely you will get a free returns under warranty.
And again its your risk returning the product using a cheap carrier or low cost carrier, so to be sure youget it insured, etc, and have to bear the the brunt of this.
Now some china resellers will compensate with maybe the return fee as a credit to buy something from them, but its not LAW for them to do this.

This is why finding a good reseller is key, but to have someone blacklisted because you may or may not have understood the returns policy is not enough, they may not provide the service you want, but sometimes bad things happen.

Personally I have had one very bad experience with DX.com (took 2 months for my item to arrive), but if I compare that one bad experience I have had overall with dx.com, over the last 5 years (15+ purchases) then it would be stupid for me to post a black list this reseller.

Taking everything into consideration is the key here, were you the one in a hundred who had something bad happen, or is it the majority of sales that has the problem.

Its best not to jump in with blacklisting a site or reseller thats why the site takes this thread so seriously. I hope this clarifies some things, and I hope we don't see sites added to this thread, but if they need to be, here is were it should be, not posted throughout the forum on different threads.

I bought THLW8 from Thl Mobile Phone Store - ThL W3, ThL W1, ThL V7, ThL V8, ThL V9, ThL V11, ThL V12 on 25/02/2013, but after the payment, it shown seller details: focalandroid@gmail.com, and just googling the email id shown, this man is running many websites and all money goes to this one email address.
I tried to track the order on their websites, still showing processing, sent email but no reply and after reading this, I am fearing I ll be cheated. above all they show express delivery timings are shown 3-5 days!!.

Should I just write to paypal and ask for refund before they actually dispatch(if they ll do) and buy from some other seller?
Did anyone buy from thlmobilestore.com?

I am seeing so many cases of people buying then doing Vendor research AFTER. Its all over TR now . And I remember doing a thread and you did too about how to research!
