Is there any feedback on this method of rooting??

I have tried another method that did not work for me, no damage to the tablet though just no root access. See here

The easier way to root smartq T20 is to follow the T15 root guide here :

    Root SmartQ Ten3 T15 - SlateDroid.com

I did it on my smartq t20 and it worked fine.

Warning, if your firmware is 1.0 -> 1.2 the clockmodrecovery will format your smartq data so save it...

I suggest you to install the firmware 2.0 on smartq then to root it (it's what I did)
