Please the first that downloads 0420 test it and upload to a fast file share server. im still have to wait 10hs to complete the download.

note: i don't remember but yesterday i read 0420 was for BASIC model... so be careful.
for what i could understudy from the bad google translations. is that in June they will be releasing a version 4.0.4 and they will merge paladin and basic firmware. but i relay don't be very trustful due the awful translation

DO NOT USE THIS UPDATE ZIP..IT IS FOR THE BASIC....Ive flashed it once and got no response from the touch screen at all..the buttons work but big fat use they are...i had to pull the sd card and put 0418 on it and reflash..what i had to do was hit the reset and hold it...thenhold the volume up button and hit power button then it did its normal update from sd...

Excelent news I was able to set open dns or google dns. That will be adede in the next release. Any other idea?

Hi,
I flashed this rom (previously I had the pinkflozd rom with overclocked cpu) here's what i noticed:
- Wi-Fi: better (a lot).
- General performances: a bit better (without Apex launcher).
- Battery consumption: nearly unchanged (I got the 100% battery bug).
- Phantom touches: still there.
- App compatibility: problems with Kindle (very bad news as I use the tablet mainly as ebook reader) other apps seems working well even thought I had to reinstall some apps from scratch because the titanium restore didn't worked as i expected.
- Other issues: Samba connections seems not working anymore, I was able to locally mount network folder before but now I can't (I get a connection error), this is also a bad news because I use the tablet to watch movies (using Mizuu) stored on my home server (linux based).

I would like to try the Tatubis rom but the link is broken.

I figure out why samba connections are not working, I'm not rooted.
It's strange because I rooted the device (as for Tatubias guide) and I got no errors.
I tried 3 differents scipts:
- Paladin_ROOM_ROOT_Fix.zip
- Superuser-3.0.7-bb-mips32r2-ics.zip
- Z4root app
I got no error, the apps seems to get root access but it doesn't work.
