Onda vi40 ICS 4.0.3 browser Wait/FC on partial page load

Hi there

I would be grateful if anyone can advise: I have the Onda Vi40 elite running 4.0.3 1.0 firmware from the GFZ website. Most things work well although I have a problem with browsing the internet:

Using any web browser app (built-in Browser, Dolphin or Opera) I have the following problem: when downloading a webpage, if you try to scroll (or zoom) while the page is still not 100% loaded then the browser often hangs and then gives a 'Wait/Force Close' error message. This happens almost all the time unless you wait until the page has loaded completely. If you wait a moment, then hit 'Wait', it will start working again once the page has finished loading.

On my phone (HTC Desire) I can scroll/zoom immediately as soon as the page starts loading, and never have this problem.

Is this a known bug with ICS, or is it an Onda vi40 / Allwinner A10 problem?

Mine does just the same. Excellent other wise. It works a lot better if you turn off Javascript ! If any one resolves this please let us know how.
