Onda Vi40 elite screen issues

Hi there,

I have just purchased the above tablet and i am very pleased with it apart from one issue with the screen. it appears to have a dead area approx 1cm wide roughly in line with the forward camera and goes right across the screen. i have spoken to my vendor and he as told that these tablets do in fact have a (thin line) across the screen as they are not 10 point screens. This to me makes no sense so i was wondering if anyone else as this type of issue?

faulty device, talk with your reseller to get it replaced.
Havent seen other posts saying its a known issue, so sounds like a bad excuse.

Thank you for your reply, yes the excuse seemed very poor to me guess i will send it back and wait for a replacement.

Definitely faulty - my Ni40 Elite has no such "dead line" across the screen - but yes, it is "only" 5-point multi-touch.
