Converting apps/.apk to work with MIPS
Hello all! I have owned my Paladin since yesterday and I have managed to root, install Clockwork, a rom, and overclock. It's a nice device for the price but I was wondering if there is a way to convert certain apks to work with the MIPS processor. I'm not new to Android, have rooted and installed custom roms on many devices with ARM processors and have helped devs in the past. I am very interested in getting a couple apks to work if anyone can guide me in the right direction and also collaborate with any devs in the forums here for this little device.

You can install Magic Code 1.42 and turn it on after install. Magic Code will convert .so native code of ARM to MIPS so that you can run ARM's apps on Paladin. But the translation compatibility is not 100% so you can't expect every application will be working. In fact it is not even up to 70%

Magic Code 1.42 is here.
