    Android Jelly Bean

The BIG question: will we get the new Android version, the Jelly Bean? If you hear or see something about this on the web, let us know!

As far as I know, the Paladin is discontinued, so I can't imagine much more support will be going in to it at this point. You'd pretty much have to hope that some developers take up the tablet but I don't think it's really all that popular. Most likely it's going to fade away...

I think the Paladin is dead period. No more updates or support. Not that there was ever any support.

In bed rest and recuperation, do not write directly on the changelog and screenshots, popular version / cellular multi-components and functional modules so will update later, no accident, this should be 4.0.3 last version update estimated, and thenJun is will shift to the 4.0.4 firmware

With the recent firmware release I am a bit less certain we're completely abandoned, however...

This is a MIPS tablet. We have Pinkfloydz' kernel modifications that may be used to patch a new kernel with.

We have his tweaks in the various .prop files, modifications to /bin and others.

All we need is the MIPS project source code for Jelly Bean and we can do this.

Well, it's here, AOSP has jelly Bean. Only a matter of time I think.

I was looking for some information on www.mips.com/blog/?p=345 and they said that they're going to port android jelly bean to mips architecture.

Woohoo! This is certainly promising news, at the very least we will get generic code that we can hack, in a way do what Cyanogen folks do, compare differences.

actually, the development of cyanogenmod10 has begun as seen on cyanogenmod wiki and most of the devices that support cm9 will be able to update to this new version.

Their methodologies I mean. CM will never be available for this.

We look at what is different from Paladin ICS to MIPS developer base. Port the changes to the MIPS version of Jelly Bean, and try to make that work.
