The download server provided is 115.com.....downloading from this server break up easily through my ISP.

The download server is moved to Huawei now. I had the same problem for downloading from 115.com but not now with Huawei.

However, I cannot update to this firmware. The progress bar of LiveSuit return back to 0% and brick my Elf. I have to resume back to 4.0.3 OS.

However, I cannot update to this firmware. The progress bar of LiveSuit return back to 0% and brick my Elf. I have to resume back to 4.0.3 OS.

After several downloads, I got one without any error and upgrade my Elf to 4.0.4. 7zip cannot detect download error when unRar the file.

The bad point for this upgrade is the switches change back to "menu" and "home", not the volume up down as previous version. You have to re-map the buttons if you want to have volume keys ready for access.

Thanks Ray for the experience of Updating. Ya, i managed to download from the Huawei web site after many failed attempts at other server. I am unable to update my elf right now as the tablet is not with me, will update once got the elf back. Look like it is quite a significant update. Apart from the volume/menu button configuration problem, any other stability issues?

I have updated my elf with this firmware from the download section of Tabletrepublic.com. Thanks admin to mirror! It works very good. Does somebody know how I can delete the Chinese apps that where installed with the new firmware? There are some apps that I can not install from Google Play, for instance Autocad WS. Is there another way to install these apps? Lots of thanks for your help...
