Can not connect ELF to PC - Win XP
I just got my ELF (4.0.3). I have downloaded the 'Livesuit' package and tried the USB drivers there. I also tried the USB drivers from the 'PDA' pack from the FAQ here. None worked.
Anyone know?? The computer identifies the 2 remote drives but cant access... says they are not available????
Thanks.

Are you saying you have downloaded from this sited PdaNet -- USB Tether/Bluetooth DUN for Android
I had the similar problem but it all got sorted out once I used this.. But I used Win 7. But guessing it might not have much to do with OS

Yes... It does not recognize the ELF as being connected and does not complete the install. The usb debug connected and usb connected are shown on the ELF and the drive letters show up on the PC, but I can not access the drives... says... Please connect or insert drive 'X' .

I think the drive letters showing up are completely different from whether the USB driver is working or not. Since you can see the drives, we should assume the cable is OK. That means the driver is not installed correctly, as the most likely culprit.
I'd uninstall the USB driver, get it again from the site xingamazon mentions (just to be sure it's the right one), and load it up again.
I think you also have to have the device turned off when you start, as I understand it. It kinda works that way with the emulator stuff for developers, so I assume the same issue may be true for PDAnet. In fact, you might want to just reboot your computer (to make sure everything is unloaded) and try again with the ELF off first. Then turn it on and see if it goes.

Got It !!!
I unchecked the debug usb developer options section and the ELF popped up on the PC instantly and the ELF also indicated it was in USB storage mode with the orange man

Use the "Have Disk" option.
