Ainol Novo 7 Aurora (LG Screen) V03
Hello All,
With our recent re-release of the Novo 7 Aurora (LG Screen) V03 today we thought it may be worth having a separate section to discuss the product itself and most importantly the firmware, as we are most certain there will be some that may be flashing the incorrect firmware version.
Hopefully we can provide all Official & Custom firmware in one place.

As far as we are aware the only way to find out is via the build number within:
settings/about tablet.
As an example, our current batch of Aurora with the LG Screen shows the following
Build number
20120418.175057.V03
Hope this helpsgadgetfreakz.co.uk - Simply Mad About Gadgets!

I am having problems with the new firmware.
With the GT101, my tablet is very unresponsive requiring several attempts to start a process. With the V02, the touch screen totally goes.
My build number is IML74K...............certainly don't look like yours.

You may try the following firmware; Dev-Host - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service
good luck!

scrap that, actually mis-read your post, this firmware is for v02..
if you have no joy we can speak to Ainol and see if we can find the correct firmware for your Aurora.
---
what you could try is using a USB mouse and doing a factory reset.gadgetfreakz.co.uk - Simply Mad About Gadgets!

Actually, I bricked the tablet for a day but persistence paid off. I managed to reload my old firmware base on the 02-26 release.
I see a Rom over at Slatedroid but again that is based on the GT101 controller. What is your opinion?
BTW How do you reset this unit?
