Novo7A ICS Trial ICS 4.0 Firmware

This is the trial version of ICS 4.0 for Novo7A. It will give users a taste of ICS on your Novo7A.

Since this is the earlier version, you are to expect bugs and apps/games not able to play well or not able to play at all. Minimum customization had been done or can be done at this stage.

Screen flickering or screen going black is expected due to Mali400 compatibility on ICS 4.0 This would likely improve in later versions.

Kindly take this as an early experience of ICS 4.0, if you aren't satified do flash back to 2.3.4 firmwares If you're going to complain, it might be a good idea not to test this version.

Just flashed. My initial thoughts

1. UI not as smooth as 2.3.4
2. Wifi indicator seems to be missing.
3. No market.
4. 1080P and 2160P videos works well.
5. Speaker sound is louder.
6. Able to off vibration.
7. Very bad blocks appearing everytime screen blank. (due to Mali400)

Will upload market in a while and see how it goes.

Edit: lol market added, doesn't work and screwed the app drawer after I try to open market. Time to go back to the good old 1.8B2^^ That was a fast ICS 4.0 experience lol

This is so cool. I've been reading about all these ICS topics you've discussed the last couple of weeks, and I'm really excited. It's also awesome to watch Ainol grow.. it will be interesting to see what will become of them
I've been so busy with my exam and work and what not the last two weeks, but I will see if I can test these roms coming out now and give some feedback.

But for now, got to go to work. I'll start testing this evening

115 download is super slow (took me quite sometime), BUT my upload to mediafire is already at 89%. Should be 10mins more lol

New ICS 0.131 firmware for Novo7A

Main improvement is better compatibility with APK installation I noticed they have wifi indicator now lol

No improvement on the dreaded white garbage during screen rotation, but there's hope lol

Also I'd wrote a script that enables full market access on ICS 0.13/0.131. Here's the download link:

There could be an error at initial login for google apps, but after you try go in again everything works fine

i tried the Full Market and it sent my Novo7 in a boot Loop so i had to reinstall the Firmware. hmm...

Which version are u using? I'm on 0.131 and had ran it 2times to confirm earlier.

I'd just re-flashed a clean 0.131 and ran the script it works well.

Did you pull out the cable b4 it restarts?
