    MK808 firmware download

    • screen no longer stretched (now at 1280672)
    • Added support for USB sound card
    • Added ethernet support
    • Improved performance
    • Auto hides status bar











    Upgrade instructions
    1. Download unpack the firmware image including the flash tool and USB drivers on your PC
    2. Use a paper clip to press a button (see image) in the first whol
    3. While pressed, connect the MK808 with USB cable to PC via OTG port
    4. Install the USB drivers
    5. Start flash tool, and select the image file
    6. Press Restore button to start the upgrade process
    7. When finished unplug and boot your MK808 on TV
    Done






    Its fairly easy to open up the device and press the upgrade button

    Damn... I can't update my MK808 because there's no Windows 8 driver for it! Hopefully we'll have one Windows 8 driver working soon....

    i unpack the mk808_411_300j1_121026(rooted).rar file and notice there are rockchip batch tool and driver files in it as well. Can i use them? or do i need to download them separately?

    I already included all the needed files, flash tool is in English by default. Use the included drivers and tool.

    I click on update instead of restore, it seems to be able to do the same job. Or is there really a difference?

    how do i turn off the on-screen keyboard? i'm using an air mouse (Mele F10), so do not want the on-screen keyboard to appear whenever i select an input field.
