First of all thank to infamouskid (and ggordon) for your help and time.
I finally succeeded and here is what worked for me
    1) check that settings->developper option -> usb debugging is untick
    2) plug the device
    3) In device manager my device appeared as 'ADB sooner testing interface'
    4) click right on this device and 'update driver'
    5) In the list of drivers proposed I had 'usb composite'. I slect this one
    6) I turned on the USB storage on my tablet

I can see now my tablet disks as 'removable disks'!

thanks all and good luck for those that may have the same issue

It will take a while to transfer a big file.
Thanks, that worked perfectly. Now I can move on to something else to bewilder me

I am using Win 2k3 32 Bit and it shows Unrecognized device... what should I do ??

Earlier when I had 3.2 it used to give me an option to to "enable mass storage" but now that I have upgraded the tab to ICS ....well... that option is not coming at all ....
