Question Ainol Novo 7 Basic charger issue

I received new Ainol Novo 7 Basic tablet two days ago. Unfortunately, there is no DC wall power 5V supply in its box. I tried to charge with a USB cable via my computer, but it does not worked. Then I used a USB charger. It is working now, but it is very slow. It is on the charger more than 6hours but only charged %21 so far. It does not look normal for me. Any idea and experience from other users about battery/charger of Ainol Novo 7 Basic tablet?

It is normal. Charging from USB only barely provides enough juice to charge and run at the same time. It's better to use the AC adapter. That's why most tablets don't allow charging by USB.

Have you contacted the vendor? He should send you the correct charger.

Who did you buy from? Unfortunately it seems like a growing trend when buying from China to not have the charger included and to be charged an extra $15 for one. Contact the Vendor, the Ainols have chargers included in the box, I had one and it came with it. If you cannot get one and don't want to spend the extra then turn off the tablet when using the USB to charge, and that will speed the process up a bit.

Hi blazingwolf, There is no AC/DC 5V 2A 1.35 x 3.5mm power supply adaptor of the tablet in the box. I tried and it charged only %21 in 10 hours via USB port with a 5V USB charger. Is it normal time? How is yours?

Hi dfranz, could you please tell me exact product name/code of the original Ainol power supply adaptor of the tablet. I can search and buy one on ebay. How many hours does it take to charge %100 full battery of the Novo7 tablet with the original Ainol power supply adaptor?

Hi Austin, unfortunatelly, the seller has no idea about the charger.
How do you charge your table? with a 'AC/DC 5V 2A 1.35 x 3.5mm power supply adaptor' or with 'a USB port with a 5V USB charger'?

I tried and it charged only %21 in 10 hours (from USB port with a 5V USB charger). Is it normal time? How is yours?

    Hi Hakan44,
in order to charge the n7b you'll need a 5v 2A (amper) charger.
all ordinary usb chargers are about 500mA (mili amper) and thus it takes forever to charge your unit.
such chargers are available in all major sites like ebay, aliexpress pandawill dealextreme etc ....
    hope this helps

I got a AC charger with mine so I don't have to use the USB port.

Here is the info on mine:
    Model#SW010S050200U1
    Input: 100-240V ~50/60Hz .5a
    Output: 5.0V 2.0A

This is a US based charger though so your might be a bit different.

How much time it takes to full charge?
I have one with same specs but only output 1.0A, and it takes about 6hours to charge. Does yours takes half the time?
