Telcast A12 10.1-inch Allwinner A10 - photo and specs

Teclast has prepared something special for the coming holidays, the Telcast A12.

Telclast A12 has a 10.1-inch capacitive screen, powered by Allwinner A10, 2MP front cam and a super attractive price tag at 799RMB (126USD).

The A12 comes preloaded with Android 2.3.4, but im sure it want take long before ICS is ready for download.

The interesting part is that the A12 is non existent on Telcast website or Chinese Baidu, im i the first in the Google-WORLD to post about this device???

Is the screen blurry/smudgy, or is it just the pictures that makes it look that way? It reminded me of the novo 8, which has a completely horrible screen - It was extremely grainy.

Other than that, it sounds like a bargain.provided the battery life is OK.

in a few days i will have it in my hands if the courier is fast enough, my brother is in china and he is buying 4 of them, so if you want to know something about this tablet just ask and i will do my best to reply in the shortest time possible. i will post here my first impresions about this tablet as soon as it arrives. btw i had the chance to play around with a teclast p81 hd - my opinion :absolutely a piece of crap, i am glad it wasn't mine, and teclast a12 is cheapper then the p81 hd, the one that i am buying costs 730 rmb if you want cheap chinese stuff just check this site ÌÔ±¦Íø - ÌÔ£¡ÎÒϲ»¶, is somewhat like ebay, but there is a downside, you need somebody in china to buy them for you (thanks bro ).

good news....it arrived....and is quite a cool gadget that will replace my laptop just fine. it arrived 2 daus ago but i din"t really had time to play with it. so to answer your questions....first of all wifi reception is exellent, at least at my place, second thing...the battery so far was pretty good, the third question...ICS is not an option at least not right now.right out of the box is running GB 2.3.4 wich is nice but is full of chinese crap.

any other question"s ?
i will post a short review after i spend a little time playng around with it.
