I just received the Teclast A10 Dual-cre RK3066 tablet from Taclast that i preordered few days ago. Below are some unboxing photos of the device.

Amazing. The changes are inside ..none outside from the Allwinner version.

Smart move ..there was no need to change anything on the outside.

Dro ...you have to let us know how this compares with the Allwinner. I am hoping for better battery life.

The built quality of this devvice is same if not better then the Allwinner version. The battery should be better then Allwinner but i cant really compare as i dont have both models in hand.

One thing that bothers me is that it does not come preloaded with Google Play, does anyone know how to get Play working on this device? Just installing the Play APK wont work.

I think the design on the Teclast A10t has to be one of the best. One Achilles heel has been the wi-fi.

Dro ..Is the wi-fi improved?

And a second related question for anyone.

Is there any Android tablet that approaches the iPad's web speed and coverage? I would think the Gal Tabs and Asus ..maybe Lenovo ... BUT what of the economy tabs ..like Teclast, Onda ..etc ...any out there with great wi-fi?

Tonight I actually spent some time with my sisters new iPad2. The web access is amazingly fast, and it has great coverage. My A10t does not even begin to approach it's level in this area.

The device is not rooted cant get Play on it as it is.
I get about 65 dBm behind one concrete wall and a glass door, and it work pretty fast in my opinion i dont have an ipad to compare.
