Anyw, shell design looks like Malata T8, which is BTW a good looking device ... but the shell is plastic , good news is full USB and RK29 supports all 3G dongles in the world, and the price.

Confirm this is RK2918 tablet, the China forum was talking about it last week. People aren't happy with the model being A10 as it's misleading >.<

I'm thinking maybe they wanted it to be a A10 tablet, but couldn't sort out the problems (not as smooth & battery?) of A10 in higher resolution. So use a RK2918 hoping to earn a sum for the festive holiday. Next Lunar New Year coming earlier on 23rd Jan 2012...

Retail price today 1499RMB, limited stock. Its said the retail price will drop to 999RMB next week. Im not sure about the pre-order details and price. It looks Chinese makers are taking on the Xiaomi strategy.

1. Pre-order early for low price, while you competitors sell today for higher price
2. Wait till manufacturing cost drops
3. Sell fresh stock with maximum profit, while stealing buyers from competitors.

I'm pretty upset with my China shipping agent. I'd placed an order with them 2 nights ago, I checked today and found they had not purchase for me. I called them, they said due to 1212 taobao promo they are packed with orders, but will push for my order to be done. 3 hrs later, I checked the status, they said my order is out of stock. Called them they say they'll refund.

I'm thinking maybe I'll get Tecalst A10 instead.

Thanks. I recall it was around 650g (or was it 638g). The batt specs is my main concern...

I ordered the 799 RMB SN10T2. Was intending to play around upgrading it with CM7 custom rom >.< I couldn't resist the 9600 mah battery lol

Too bad it's out of stock.. sigh~

Edit: Ployer momo11 9.7" IPS 16GB 1GB also 999 RMB^^; Under 1000 RMB 9.7" IPS price war officially started. Ployer tablets are either good or bad. Wonder how momo11 will turn out.

Teclast A10 battery is a single cell 6000 mah battery, 5V/2A. So I believe USB charging is possible. Just wonder how good a single cell 6000mah would be compared to N90/U9GT2 2x4000mah...

Also the Teclast P81HD is now 699 RMB. Really tempted by that too. My refund is going to be 799 RMB, should I top-up to get a 9.7" IPS or just use existing refund to get a P81HD. hmmm... lol

Here is my opinion on your options:

• SN10T2 - has the best built quality form them all but BAD viewing angle, one eye will see darker, too bad i really like this device.
• Ployer momo11 - have never seen this and cant really comment, but some how i never liked this brand. Poor support and not so good built quality.
• Teclast P81HD - Ok screen, but fat and feels plastic, and the front button is dangerous, the edges are knife sharp

I would choose between Teclast A10 and Window N90.
