SmartQ T30 gets TI OMAP4470 and 2GB RAM

SmartQ is really busy keeping my attention. The next top model, the SmartQ T30 is powered by latest OMAP4470 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core CPU along with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 2GB dual channel RAM.

It uses the same shell as the SmartQ T20, which means 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 high-resolution IPS screen, a 7,500 mAh battery and a weight of 730g.
T30 equipped with dual cameras (2MP and 5MP), HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and 2GB LPDDR2 RAM.

The extra RAM is a bless as the device will come with Jelly Bean Android 4.1 and we may very likely see an Windows RT firmware from SmartQ as TI uses the OMAP4470 as their development platform for Windows RT.

It will be officially on sale starting July 31th, price is expected to land somewhere between 1500 - 2000 CNY.

I cant wait to get my hands on this candy.

The retail price of T30 is set at 1899 CNY (298 USD) which is same as the T20 when is was released few months ago. Hopefully the T30 will get some Jelly Bean love when released.

Wow this looks amazing :P these specs are mind blowing, just think back to about a year or two ago when tablets just started becoming popular, the ipad only had 512mb of ram :P can't wait to see the reviews on this one

Merimobiles wants $390US with free shipping, only other place i could find a seller was Aliexpress, a guy with only 1 rating, selling for $360US with shipping included. Hopefully someone gets and reviews this.

Still not bad price if you include all the fees. The device is on pre-sale from SmartQ from today, but the device is not yet available. May take 1-2 weeks before we can see a review. Cant wait to get my hands on this baby.

Surely this will be compared to the 10.1 offerings from Asus and Samsung.

Please ..when reporting ...include some good details on battery life (which should be VERY GOOD) and wifi.

Hoping for good wifi at a reasonable distance from router. I need a good reason to get a new tab.
