SmartQ T20 gets Ubuntu firmware
SmartQ was one of the very first tablet manufacturers to offer dual boot OS with Window and Linux back in 2010. SmartQ T20 is the latest OMAP 4460 dual-core 1.5GHz, Android tablet with Android 4.0.4 preinstalled. SmartQ is going back to its roots with Linux support for their devices, and so last night Ubuntu firmware was published.
The beta firmware is based on latest Ubuntu 12.04 LTS version, below are some screenshots and download links.

Runs from the TF card?
Good morning.
Am I reading correctly ..that it will run alongside Android OS from a TF card?
That is pretty kewl. I have played with Linux on my PC a long while back. It is probably much better now.
That makes for a new reason to maybe get a 10.1" T20.

It is whole new world for us now. Tablets will take place of computers day by day. It is clear as sun with this new development.
On the other hand I love console commands :-)Last edited by HellGuy; 06-22-2012 at 07:22 PM.

That's a really cool feature that you can choose which to run.
