Rikomagic MK802 IIIS Super Slim Dual-core TV stick

    inline image
MK802IIIS is the latest Android TV stick from Rikomagic powered by Dual-core RK3066, it shares same basic specs as the MK802III with few important additions, which are:
    • Built-in bluetooth
    • Super slim design
    • 4GB and 8GB versions
    • Extra OTG micro USB port
    • Soft power off button
    • Hide status bar icon
    • Support for Android app remote control

I cant get enough of Android TV sticks and even if im a hardcore fan of Uhost1/Uhost2, there are few reasons for which i would recommend the MK802IIIS. The slim design makes it more convenient to bring along, flash storage is 8GB, the Rikomagic devices have a support community forum and the 4.1 firmware gives you the feature to use the RKRemoteControl. For benchamrk results and other tests see the updated benchmark comparison.

Not on the firmware im running, trust me you dont want to run dual core on 1080p resolution, it makes the UI sloooow.

You can see the wifi signal strength in the benchmark comparison.
I noticed the device is running at 1.2 so i have not experienced any heat issues.

    Just ordered mine...

    How is the stock software?

Is it worth it to upgrade to the latest 1.7 file?

Never rooted anything, but for the price Id rather learn on this device..
