I knew there was something fishy about the so-claimed 1.5 GHz chip on the newer Anal tablets. After seeing the words "up to 1.5 GHz", I knew they are full of shit as always. You and I know that will never happen - it will still be a 1.0 GHz. The best they can do is overclock it much like the counterfeit, relabelled AMD Athlon and Opteron chips that were circulating in China.

There could also be a catch with the so-called "dual-core" wording too. Yes, it has multi-core but it probably can only run one core at a time.

They will have to provide dual core sooner or later or they will die since Apple and Nvidia are providing dual core already and even quad core are on the way

They won't die if their prices are a fraction of name-brand ones. There will always be someone who prefer price over performance, which applies to the majority of the readers on this forum. But right now, off-brand tablets price is close to famous-brand ones. I certainly won't spend $200 for a Hasee R10 if an Asus Tablet is also offering an equivalent if not better one. Example:

Preview Asus / nVidia Tablet $249 unit:

    Android 4.0 ICS
    nVidia Tegra 3 Quad-core
    1280x800 IPS display
    1GB of RAM
    micro-USB, micro-HDMI, microSD ports
    2 cameras including an 8-megapixel rear-facing lens
    etc.

Hmmm, pre-ordering already? They aren't even quite sampling these yet, right? That diagonal fluting is horrid and why the empty screw/bumper locations?

edit: Well, I guess they must be close after all, assuming the title is true. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3eKueWa-MQ

Looks like this is the hardware I've been waiting for, but will need to be in an 8"-10" package
