Two niggles with my Astro+
I've got the sumvision Astro+ version of this tablet from ebuyer in the UK. I've got 2 problems with it that I'm having to ignore\work around that I'd really like to get fixed if someone has some answers:
1) Clock drift. The clock on this drifts maybe 5-10 minutes per day. I'm using clocksync to pull it back in whenever I switch it on, I can't using it as an alarm clock or a calendar reminder because its so poor.
2) Spell checker and suggestions. These just don't work. Nearly every work that I type is underlined in red and I hardly get any suggestions.
I'm really surprised that no-one else has reported these issues, they're really obvious and I can't see how they would affect only me. I've taken the latest software from Sumvision's site to replace the ICS beta that came loaded on it as shipped.
Thanks,
Duncan.

No, not ebay ... ebuyer. Ebuyer are a respected online retailer here in the uk. the sumvision cyclone astra is a variant of the 760, see post 1 in the thread.
Do I take it that you've used these tablets and are able to contribute to the thread?

Does anyone know how to use Volume buttons as Page Up/Down key for Internet browser ? Does new version of Opera or Dolphin change the functions? Thank you.

Goodness am I mightly confused with all the different versions of this tablet! I've got a "real" Ployer Momo9 tablet - 0.3MP version I think. I successfully upgraded to the latest IVIEW image (4.0.3-97F1-D1-H2-H01-N413.20120314.img) but I have the "home key" not working problem. I'm having real trouble finding the official Ployer firmware as the Ployer site is pretty dire. The English downloads don't actually contain the firmware - they contain a URL to download. I think I've found it on the Chinese site but it's got a download time of over 7 hours!

hello and thanks in advance!
nice work with the video its very illustrative.
i received this week a Momo 9 Ployer whit this expects.
Android version 4.0.4
Basebrand version 1.4rc3
kernel version 3.08+
build number 97F3-H1-H1-H01-2355.20120804.
Im concerning with 2 specifics issues , a messages *annoying* about Google TTS has stopped working. and The YouTube app which apparently cant be update .
Can i try to flash back to 4.0.3 it using this video? btw its a 8GB version. but i cant see anything about 97F3. any help is welcome. thanks.

I got the latest IVIEW firmware working great on the company's Momo9 but as it's a shared device, we tend to factory reset it after it's been borrowed. Now I've got the problem with the home key not working. This thread is very long and pretty hard to follow but I did read that the suggestion was to re-flash the image. Is this correct?
Cheers, Rob.
