    ac power must be unplugged

    I discovered the hard way that the firmware flash instructions don't work unless ac power is unplugged from the tablet. If that is mentioned anywhere I didn't see it. I admit that I didn't read all of the hundreds of posts in these threads, but something that critical should be in the instructions themselves, not buried somewhere in a long thread.

    The Momo9C is the same or very similar to many others, at least outwardly.
    Has anyone opened?
    I have also curious to know if a HD are "officially" only 4GB, data written on the box is 8GB.
    See what I mean (datashet the manufacturer), sections 5/6 would have to put 4G and 8G sets:

    But things:
    97F1 = 0.3MP
    97F2 = 1.3MP o 2MP
    Part of the first page:
    1.) 2012-02-10 - 760TPC 4GB version (97F1-D1-H2-H01-N410.20111210)
    - ONLY for 4GB with 0.3MP camera models
    - this is the original firmware that shipped with the tablet, no bloatware
    2.) 2012-02-09 - 760TPC 8GB version (97F2-D1-H1-H01-1529.20120114)
    - ONLY for 8GB with 2.0MP camera models
    - this is latest official firmware
    Another "difference":
    H2 = ?
    H1 = ?
    Could be the HD?
    H2 = 4GB
    H1 = 8GB

    More:
    As the screen 7":
    97F1-D1-H2-H01-N410.20111210
    7 = 7"
    Example 8":
    18F2-D1-H1-H02-1845.20120331
    8 = 8"
    It is possible??

    New 4.0.3 firmware released by Ployer for the Momo9.
    - 97F2-D1-H1-H02-1901.20120407 (for 1.3MP camera models)
    - it is the final build that they will be using on their tablets.

    [
    I tried this on the 8gig 2mp version and all but the camera worked of course.
    What I did find was that you end up with little RAM left after boot, and it seemed every few seconds it ate a few more MB until I had less than 60MB free.
    I usually have anywhere from 150-180 with the Iview supplied image. I used ES Task Manager for the readings.
    This was also after deleting some of the bloat from the system/app folder.

    have you checked ployer english website for new momo9 firmware? Ployer
    they have a new set of firmware update (I thought it is new firmware, it dated on April).

    MOMO9C 4.0 20120407
    Type:Catalogue
    Size:318 MB
    Update Time:2012-04-17 13:46:29

    I'm curious about the package type, instead of firmware they wrote it as 'catalogue'
    and it's surely larger in size than the previous firmware (i am using ICS 4.0.3 20120314).

    can you confirm on this? thank you. (I'm new to this, both tab and forum, hope you don't mind XD)

    Download it here:
    My Mediafire folder for 1.3MP ICS firmware

    I have been playing with it for only 2-3 days, and I made Release Notes:

    Release Notes - by eyeoncomputers (Phong)

    Model Number: Ployer Momo9
    Android Version: 4.0.3
    Baseband Versiion: 1.1
    Kernel Version: 3.0.8+
    Build Number: 97F2-D1-H1-H02-1901.20120407

    Tablet model this is meant for:
    - model with 1.3MP camera
    (so if you use this with any other model, the camera app won't work)

    Notes about the build:
    - default Chinese language and time zone (simple to change to your language and time zone)
    - branded as Momo9 on bootscreens and homescreen (easy to edit them)
    - includes Chinese bloatware (which can all be uninstalled or disabled)
    - includes GApps: Gmail, Play Store (Market), Calender, Maps, Talk, Youtube
    - Browser app homepage is set default to ployer website (easy to change)
    - other apps pre-installed:
    ..... Adobe Reader, Documents to Go, Flash Player, Fruit Ninja, Talking Tom Cat, Unrar Pro

    Observations about the build:
    - fast and responsive like other previous 4.0.3 builds
    - framework and GApps looks to be up to date and stable
    - no issues with GApps not syncing
    - no issues with Location/GPS services (using wifi)
    - no issues with Voice to Text
    - Google Play Store (Market) app looks to be unlocked
    - YouTube issue with seek bar is now fixed

    Conclusion:
    - this is a great build overall, that is why it is the official final build for ICS on current and upcoming Ployer Momo9 tablets being shipped out (have this build pre-installed)
    - too bad its for 1.3MP camera models, but still great to see
    - stay tuned for Ployer to release this build on other OEM versions of these tablets

    Hi Ryandox,

    The firmware you quoted is apparently for Momo9 with 1.3MP camera...
    I have the model with 0.3MP, that is why I wanted to flag it with EOC.

    Hi Eye. I would like to thank you for all your hard work. This is my first pad, I have the scroll Excel 7 and I flashed the software ICS 403 for the 0.3 camera and then ran your super script when it had all finished I found everything worked except there was no app for google play at all? so I downloaded the apk and installed it and then ran item 4 on your script menu and it appears to work ok. I managed to download angry birds from it and when I chose a none free app it asked for card details etc. so I think it's fine. Might be handy if you include root Explorer in your script apps. and maybe Avast or a similar virus protection app please. it would make a wonderful one hit upgrade script.

    You can add these yourself by putting the .APK's in app or apps folder (can't remember how EOC named it). ES File Explorer has the ability of Root Explorer, you just have to adjust the settings.
    Tick the checkboxes that deal with root and your all set.
