you dont have to install it its inbuilt. switch off and push & hold VOL+ while power on |

Seems that there is a bit of a generic fault which results in the touch screen not responding. Mine is the same, in that the touch screen functioned well for a day or two, then failed. The failure occurred after I gave the tablet it's first full charge from the USB port on my PC. I emailed the sellers (Widen Electric) and initially got good response from Paul who suggested that the problem is software rather than hardware (plausible) and he suggested that the resolution may come with the official 4.0.3 update. Ominously, as of 31 Jan I have not been able to get a response from Widen Electric. Seeing the number of people who appear to have the screen problem, I suspect that is why. Meantime I've downloaded the original (4.0.1 I think) and tried reloading that using the Vol+ and Pwr button combo without success. I've also downloaded the unofficial 4.0.3, still without success, I just can't get the firmware to install. Using a 2Gb microSD card, first formatted in FAT16 and then in FAT32, the tablet begins booting, then shows the Android with the rotating wire frame, then the Android lies down and a triangle appears above it, the progress bar completes about one centimetre, then the tablet simply boots to the old 4.0.1 with my data and settings available but still no touch. So first up a warning to anyone considering one of these Paladins - something is not quite right, so don't. Second, does anybody see something that I am doing wrong please ? Regards to all Flange |

Flange! put firmwere on micro sd,then turn off the tablet,next push vol+ and power - you wiil see robot with the rotating wire frame,then dont touch gadget and wait 15-20 minutes, then palladin will rebuted and will boot android 4.03,its very simply sorry for my bad english |
