Cube U30GT-H Screen memory effect?

Hi guys, i bought a Cube U30GT-H from spemall for an firend. I testing it at this moment since monday, and found now an annoying problem with the screen. I've read already the thread from andropos, but my problem is another. The screen/touch works good, but the IPS screen seems to memorise the home screen, or it shows strange stripes... The stripes sometimes disappear and than they come back... and 2 hours later the stripes are gone and the screen memorise the homescreen again, and this looks like this (sry for bad quality, pics are shot with my smartphone at night):

Is it an hardware or firmware problem? Should I wait for the next firmware or contact spemall for return? What should I do? Please help.

Could be a bad ribbon connection from the motherboard to the screen. Only way to check would be to open the thing up and check the ribbon connectors, one will be the touchscreen and one will be the lcd, just make sure the lcd is fitting nicely into the connector.

I will not open the tablet because I don't know if it is a failure or really a ribbon cable, that not pluged right. I mean why accur such a problem? I know memory effect from plasma panel tv's... Here I made more pictures, where you can see it better:

I played a game 30 minutes, and look at the home symbol at the right corner at the bottom:

and than, i have this symbol for 1-2 hours:

and when this disappear, other symbols appear, or the corious stripes...


BTW: I wrote an e-mail to cube, I hope they can say me what it could be.

I'm know expert on tablets, however I am a computer technician. I would be willing to bet that its an heating issue with the GPU or maybe a driver issue. Just my thoughts

Hi. I received yesterday my u30gt and I have your problem. But also I return to standbye mode, the screen is full of stripes.



If you find any solution please tell me. I will do the same.

Hi I still didn't found any solution, I'm still waiting for an answer from spemall and Cube... Looks like they used low quality screens?
I don't know what it could be and it seems, that not many of cube owners has this problem. But thanks god I'm not allone, so we can together help us to solve this problem.

The unit i was testing did not have the stripes issue but other touch issues, i would suggest you to return the device for exchange or refund.
