Cube U20GT - First impression

Just got my hands on the new Cube U20GT and I like it alot. So far I have not experienced any freeze ups, no reboots, and no considerable heating. It has full Google Play access and a strong and stable wifi connection. It was also easy to root with the software that Andropos provided for the Teclast A10 dual core.
As usual there are a couple of draw-backs. The slot for the micro sd card is weird. When the card is mounted it still sticks 3-4mm out from the tablet. The screen (compared to the Teclast A10 dual core) is not great, and there are instances of screen bleeding. Its supposed to be equiped with Gorilla Glass, but I have not put this to the test. Battery seems ok even though it dropped considerably faster as its capacity got close to 20%. I will do a more thorough battery test tomorrow.
Overall Im very happy with this product! If you guys have any questions, shoot-.gif)

Sounds like the SD card sticking out is a major design flaw. Those things breaks pretty easy. Is this a production model?
Cube is bringing out so many models, sometimes it hard to tell the difference. So what is the difference between this and their last dual core 9.7 inches?

Thanks for the post, i was not aware of this model.
1. I never heard of a Chinese tablet using gorilla glass, where did you get this info from?
2. Also how much did you pay for it?
3. Did they really put dual-potatos at the back of the device?Samples Clearance Sale - Tablets and TV sticks

I agree, for the average user the sd card slot might be a problem. Luckily I never use the slot so it doesnt bother me much. I think this is the final model, but one never know with Cube

From what I can tell it has a slightly different design (which I like), Gorilla Glass and very good dual speakers.

I dont know what it says in chinese but the words "gorilla glass" appears here:
双*坚果 - 酷比*方(CUBE)品牌网站 | NO CUBE NO FUN!
Haha, even better with nuts. How did they come up with the idea to put nuts on a tablet.

There is a nice video on you tube with a demo on the glass being attacked with a file.
That price is excelent ...considering the Gorilla Glass; most current dual cores are actually more expensive.
It seems that the local manufacturers has risen to the challengce of keeping their products attractivly priced.

I have found an issue that I hope can be fixed by firmware update: the device must be powered on to charge. If Im not mistaken some Yuandao tablets also had this issue. Its not a huge problem, but seems unnecessary.
