Then I don't understand how they can advertise over clocked speeds.
This is like AMD advertise their 2Ghz CPUs as 8Ghz.

You do know that it is irrelevant, those speeds are real. You can just keep the tablet plugged in to the charger if you need a whole lotta battery, but usually the difference won't be large.

Countered by the fact that you can easily have another BP4L (or several lol) in your pocket, rather than holding the weight in your hands - giving a 20% weight saving over comparable tablets. The only reason i havent jumped on it is I can barely find anythign about it - and dont speak a word of mandarin to be able to see firmware options etc.

We know that the Novo 7A on standby (no usage at all other than standby), will draw 25% power in a single day. What that means is that this battery will give the Novo7A enough power to last only standby for maybe 30 hours. If you use it at all this will shrink greatly. Even if you carry multiple batteries (which will make charging each of them rather odd, as you're plugging and unplugging them to charge them), this will mean over the course of the day you're flipping through batteries, probably 2-3 for a day. On basic usage at least 2 (due to power consumed in standby). How can that be worth the weight savings of 20% really? It really is better if you want long usage to just carry a backup battery that will plug into the usb port.

To some people weight matters, personally a big reason i want a tablet is i have difficuly holding books open - it hurts after a while. As for swapping battery every couple of hours of use, or having to put up with 20 sec boot rather than leaving it on standby, doesnt seem like all that huge a compromise for either lighness if you need it, or effectively unlimited runtime.
Would be cool to see one that like some other portables runs 2 hot-swap batteries, so that you can swap them out live (esp if it drained one at a time and then switched over).
Certainly not for everyone - but it is nice to see such options in the marketplace.
