Ainol Novo7 Basic Android 2.2 Upgrade Guide

Here is a quick guide how to upgrade Ainol Novo7 Basic with 2.2 firmware.
This can come handy for those who want to downgrade from the not-so-ready 3.2 firmware.

Upgrade Steps:

1. Unpack the firmware file update.zip
2. Copy update.zip to micro sd card
3. Turn off the device (make sure its charged before you proceed)
4. Insert micro SD card into the device
5. Press and hold the Volume + key and press power button
6. When you see the Ainol logo on screen release the Volume +
7. Wait till the upgrade is complete (this will take few min)
8. Device will reboot after upgrade

Update, as opposed to 20,110,928 after the release part of the update are as follows:
Solve the following optimization problem or
1 video output via HDMI to the TV broadcast, when a video finishes playing and switch to the next video, the TV will display a Huaping
2 Some mp3 sound is not normal
3 video files larger than 4G
4. 720P video support (but the camera quality issues and the structure of the problem 2.2 is not satisfied)
5. OTG connectivity 3G optimization of instability
6. OTG support to optimize Ethernet card
7. OTG external hard drive to access multi-partition optimization
8 front and rear camera toggle switch and the video camera the camera will cause the application to terminate unexpectedly
9 shutdown can not be burned, suggesting that the USB device not recognized

From china site i can't download.

20111108: Novo7Basic-Android2.2-
extract update.zip to sdcard , poweroff, hold volume + button tap poweron button and release volume when ainol logo appears

3.2 beta : update_with_xboot.zip
rename to update.zip, then same as above to update

I need firmware with russian language. Can anybody help?

The 3.2 beta puts some fancy colours on the ainol logo, apart from that i really dont know yet.
I'm sticking with the 2.2 until they release a more stable 3.2 version
The 3.2 updates from the original homepage ( ??*Ainol*Novo7???*??*JZ4770*MIPS????3.2?????????_????????_???? )
1. Fixed market crashing when logging in
2. Location, time and date settings changed to Peking
3. Removed sky and grass wallpaper/background

Does anyone have Calendar sync working?! I would really love to have Calendar and Contact sync. Just got back to 2.2.

I have noticed that the new 3.2 firmware do not have the force close issue when signed in on Google.
I will report about latest 2.2 later.
