thanks, I will give that a bash tomorrow.

The big question now is how to root this device so I can use Titanium Backup to back up all the apps and settings. I dont know if this update is a wipe or not.

Actually, the RK3066 is superior. Just look at the benchmarks.

Those benchmark results cant be correct, SmartQ S7 (1GHz) got 3113 on the standard test, and T20 is 1.5GHz.

Also RK3066 is not really ready for mass production, i suggest you wait few more weeks before buying RK3066.
