ICOO ICOU7GT Quad Core Tablet PC Exposed

As a well-known China brand, ICOO leaks out the photos of its brand new product a few days ago, ICOU7GT, using 7 inch IPS screen and Allwinner A31 quad core chip, supporting 4K HD video playing. Recently, the photos of the tablet came out. Let’s take a peer.


A31 quad core processor
ICOU7GT is equipped with Allwinner A31 quad core processor, its the first ARM-based that applied with the lasted Cortex-A7 architecture processor. Higher performance, react more faster, more responsive. ICOU7GT is also equipped with 1M level 2 cache which brings faster data processing and transmission speed and improving operating experience. At the same time, the low consumption technique of A31 quad core processor ensures the performance of the tablet PC without increasing much consumption and heat. Its one of the best advantages of ARM processors.


8-engine GPU
ICOU7GT uses 8-engine GPU. It’s said that this GPU has 11M /S triangular output rate. 3000M /S pixel filling, having memory large enough to do well in rendering and filling fusion in big 3D games. Its GPU performance is higher than single core A10 chip which has better compatibility for large 3D game games.


7 inch 1280*800 resolution IPS screen
7 inch IPS screen of ICOU7GT, which resolution is up to 1280*800, devoted to movie appreciation, big games, browsing pictures and text by enhanced effect.


64 bit dual channel DDR3 RAM
ICOU7GT is equipped with 64bit RAM, comparing with the current 32bit RAM, it’s doubled the bandwidth making more rapid data processing. ICOU7GT uses dual channel RAM technique, more faster than other single channel RAM processing speed. Addtionally, dual channel NAND FLASH technique is also used, make games and files reading and writing speed more faster.



4K HD video playback
4K video player is a HD resolution video standard and it’s 4times the resolution of 2K projector and HDTV. With this resolution, audiences can enjoy more clearly image on the screen in every detail and close-up. This time, ICOO made it come true that 4K HD video decoding and output, 4096*2160 resolution is higher than the mainstream 1080P (1920*1080 resolution).

Icoo's build quality is probably the worst in Chinese brands, I bought an ICOU7 last year, there was a dead bug under the touchscreen.
