Where to buy android tablets from China

I would like to create a "Trusted Stores" list where we can list all reliable online stores and resellers.

    Recommended stores by members

    Merimobiles - by BamaPanda
    McBub - by BamaPanda
    Andoid-sale - by BamaPanda

    Featured Sponsors
    redtabletpc.com
    gadgetfreakz.co.uk
    ipadalternative.com
    nemtytab.com

    Other stores with negative feedback
Pandawill.com - Very poor after sales service reported

    DONT BUY FROM FOLLOWING STORES
See this thread for blacklisted stores:

Blacklisted Sellers - DONT BUY FROM THEM

Add vendors to the list, where you purchased your tablet from and would recommend it to others.
DO NOT submit eBay, Aliexpress.com or supermarket stores.

Replying this post with link to store and a comment.

Please help me to add vendors where you have purchased your device, by replying this post.
I have three experiences, the last still in process.
    Andoid-sale
Android Sale - Buy Android Phones, Android Tablets at Low Price
    & McBub

Both handled my issues. Both were cordial in their replies. Both handled brands that some would consider a step down ..not necessarily in components used, but in integration and possibly build quality.

I have an Onda on order with Merimobiles. I have no doubt I will get the best support possible from that vendor if needed, in addition to buying what is reportedly a higher overall brand.

Hope so, anyway. I am tired of sending tabs back !

Additional comment on McBub. They seemed to be really geared to do business, having a warehouse in the US for quick delivery of many items. That said ..I don't think 2-3 day delivery from China with DHL can be beat. I just wish they sold a brand I felt I could trust better.

    Update on McBub ..2/18/12:

I did finally hear from McBub. They have apologized for their lack of communicating with me properly. They have offered me a large discount on a future tablet purchase.
As i said at the beginning of this ordeal, I had the sense that McBub was sincere and wished to do the right thing. With that desire, I am sure this experience will help them in that goal.
I will report back soon on how well things go from this point forward. Hopefully things are good with McBub again.

The first two vendors were fine. They were honest in their dealings with me. As for the tablets they sell, I would have to think long and hard before going down that road again. I am sure it is OK for some, but there are other brands with better support that can be bought for the same pricing.

We will see with the Onda Vi30W coming from Merimobile. From all reports this vendor is about as good as it gets.

You are so right, a trusted stores list is better. I have bought 3 Via 8650 from Buy in Coins over a six month period (gifts) and shipping with tracking was fast to Toronto, 2- 2/12 weeks. I bought my Ainol Novo 7 basic from Ownta, but not from their website, through their eBay store and it got to me in 2 1/2 weeks during Christmas! (came on the 21st of December). So far no tablets to ship back personally, I shudder at the thought, because of a current experience. I had bought a 9.7 "capacitive last year, 2010 December from a Vendor in Vancouver and had to return it after 8 months it stopped charging. It was returned to him from China after 10 weeks, still not working and was sent back to China, 10 weeks now, still no updates. So I had it for 8 months, been without it now for 5 months, and cannot get any response from the Vendor. About to file with the Better Business Bureau. The joke was the initial service was excellent, and I had a friend buy about 5 tablets through me from him! So he has now lost my referrals too.

I would be very nervous about the route through e-bay.

    You mentioned shipping time.
My first experience took 2 1/2 weeks to get the tab (android-sale.com) as they used the least expensive shipping.
KUDDOS to McBub, as they USED DHL. After it was actually shipped (took a few days to finalize the sale and process), I got the tab in less than three days. I was amazed. I hate that the Aishuo had problems.
