SmartQ T20 for US $235.12 including postage.... too good to be true??
Hi all,
found this SmartQ T20 Tablet PC - Android 4.0, Cortex-A9 1.5GHz CPU 1GB 16GB Storage for $235 on the dhgate site......
Wholesale - 10.1quot; IPS Capacitive SmartQ T20 Tablet PC - Android 4.0, Cortex-A9 1.5GHz CPU 1GB 16GB Storage, Free shipping, $188.10-235.12/Piece, 1 piece/Lot | DHgate.com
Is this a super offer or what?? dhgate is a trustworthy site or now? I was looking to buy this tablet and was expecting to pay around $320 plus, not bothered about waiting time if I could get it for over $100 cheaper...
Any ideas if this legit? You are given the option to pay via paypal which is a good thing, what do you suggest???
Thanks in advance
Aris
P.S. I just emailed the seller company Pkss11 to find out if genuine article, how come price is so good and stock availability, i will let you know if they reply back to me...Last edited by ArisGrUk; 03-27-2012 at 11:13 PM.

Dhlgate collects several sellers simular to ebay..
so if you check his history, you can see he sells a lot of stuff far to cheaply.
plus the t20 hasnt been released yet, so probaly he is a fake seller.
then again you should never say never...
I however would never buy from him...

Thanks dr. Roboto
I had a look at the sellers profile and has NO feedback..... sold 17 items but no feedback yet and another alarming thing it is that he only registered with dhgate in March 2012 so I will too avoid them for sure!!!

It's probably fake. The latest price for the SmartQ T15 is $300 (dated April 3, 2012)
At $300, I'd rather buy a trustworthy brand like Lenovo. The Lenovo IdeaPad K1 - Tegra2, 16 GB is currently selling for less than $250

Wow! Has to be fake.
Here is another ...probably?

I really like what SmartQ is doing with the TI chipset and the better memory. Hopefully they will be coming with a new 9.7" about the size of an iPad.
Then I will probably sell the A10t and upgrade.

Maybe $250 is incorrect, but he do have a point.
I was very interested in the Smart Q dual core until I saw the asking price.
The reason I buy these tablets is mainly to gain the price advantage. When the price difference start getting too narrow, then it is time to rethink the buying equation. At above $300.00, I start looking at the more recognized brand from reputable store.
When I lay out that much currency, I want a decent guarantee.
