Reasons To Root Your Android Tablet

I have noticed that many tablet users look for ways to root their Android devices and found it interesting to hear the different reasons for rooting.

Hare are some reasons:

• To be able to install and use Chainfire3D
  Reasons below posted by maxtsm
• use software like titanium backup (free) to backup/restore apps and apps data
• remove some apps from system partition. i deleted the system gmail.apk so i can now install latest gmail version from the market and get it updated in the future

What is the reason you would like to root your Android tablet?

One that comes immediately to mind, although somewhat trivial, is to be able to use a screen grabber app. "Shootme" worked on some unrooted devices, but has been removed from the Market.
