Hi Im new to all this and need help

    Hi all
Im new to the forum, and i would like to buy in the next month a 9.7" or 10.1" dual core tablet. I dont know which one to buy and which are stable at the moment. I have read lots of threads on different tablets ie n90 dual core, u30gt, onda vi40 dual core etc but my mind is on overloaded. Please can a few of you testers help me out. I want one to work out of the box, i dont mind the odd update if you know what i mean.
I will use the tablet to play videos, emails, internet play game and download apps and store and view photo's.

I also need help on where to buy it from as ive heard alot of bad things on lots of the chinese companies selling tablets out there. So who can you trust.

    Any help would be grateful

    Many Thanks

The longer you can wait, the better informed you will be. I would watch the various threads for the tablets you mentioned, looking for a few things. First, how are people saying the tablet works? Does it run smooth, or freeze up? How is it compatible on the playstore? Also i would see which tablet gets developer support. Often a tablet with just decent hardware, can be better than one with better hardware, if there are good roms made for it. And even if there isn't much development, if the manufacturer puts out updates for their products on a regular basis, that's helpful. As for who to buy from, check out here- Tablet Manufacturers & Suppliers . In a lot of ways it's a crapshoot, some people have totally opposite experiences with the same vendor, but I would say pick a large dealer who's been around awhile, there are several endorsed by this site that are good.

    great advice ^^^

i will add, the problem most of the time from Chinese vendors is not getting the tablet, but getting it serviced or replaced if there is a problem....
you can always check out places like newegg or tiger direct if your in the states for models such as Asus or Acer or HP they are more expensive....there are refurbished models also available....
