The best dual-core processors

the OMAP 4460 :P too bad its only a single core :P if it had a few more cores nothing would be able to touch it its a shame. that Rock Chip is amazing though wow :/ in just one year they have gone from dual to quad core. now they just have to increase the cache size and android may just be able to take over the world :P mwahahahah :P

4460 and 4470 are both dual-core, the main difference in frequency and dual ram channels. RK3066 is dual-core.

You are looking at the GPU cores, all CPUs are dual.
4470 has dual ram channels.

which processor have the most compatible apps? I bought an Ainol Basic an it is a nighmare due to lack of compatible apps for Mips...not sure whether most apps based on rockchip/amlogic/Ti proc.

All the cpus in this poll are ARM and support all apps, its only MIPS that does not support all apps.

Thks for the clarification, i bought it in the hurry and did not do any research..so it's partly my fault..of all the tablets I could have bought , I choose the cpu with the least compatibility. sigh!.. Anyone heard of a new tablet proc nicknamed "CJ8" @ Allwinner A13 1.8G ?

You are not alone buying MIPS and not knowing its limitations, let hope MIPS will get better support soon.

Dont know CJ8 fir i know enough to recommend you not to buy a Allwinner A13 device, its a budget version of A10 so you end up buying another limited device.

Processor / GPU speed / cores seems to make a lot less difference than a decent software build.

I have a yuandao n101-II with dual core cpu and quad gpu, and my son has a single core cpu single core gpu smartq t19, and it runs ICS MUCH smoother than my tablet.

The OMAP 4470.
Does it have dual GPU? On wiki it says it has a 544+2D GPU. So does that mean it's a dual GPU?
How does it compare to AML8726-M6 or the RK3066? Gaming-wise, as I highly doubt they'd struggle with vids, browsing, and PDFs.
