Question Ainol Novo 7 Basic HDMI port

Have you tried to connect Ainol Novo 7 Basic tablet to your Television ?
I tried with a 'Mini HDMI to Cable', but it does not worked.
I bought the cable '2.5 M Gold HDMI to HDMI Mini V1.3 HD Digital Cable Lead' from ebay - 2.5 M Gold HDMI to HDMI Mini V1.3 HD Digital Cable Lead | eBay

How was your experince with HDMI port on Ainol Novo 7 ?

I never used the HDMI on my basic, but I use the one on my advanced and it works perfectly. There is a possibility you have a faulty cable. Does your tv not recognise anything connected?

    HDMI problem

I bough ProLink HDMI to mini HDMI (PMM287.0200) for my Ainol Novo 7 basic. When i connect it to my Sony Bravia (klv32t550a), the TV says unrecoginzed signal, change your output settings.

My tablet is running on 3.2. I have tried all the four options available on the tablet i.e. 720p50, 720p60, 1080p50, 1080p60 and nothing is working. I have turned it off and turned it back on after plugging in the HDMI and the result is zero.

First, I was very disappointed with the absence of video call for skype in Ainol Novo 7 basic, and now this has happened. Can anyone please help ? is it a android upgrade issue? should i upgrade to ICS ? or is this tablet faulty anyway?

When I had my Basic the same thing happened to me. At first the tv wasn't recognising the signal, so I turned it off and on, and did the same thing with the tablet, and then after about 10 minutes of fiddling around it started to work, and after that never had the issue arise again.

Maazster, have you tried on another TV? It may be related with your TV.
