I have used the 7 inch samsung galaxy tab (p1000), with 512 ram quite successfully. It is very portable, and I suspect that the ainol elf would be wonderful as a replacement for such a tablet. I also have wondered about the 8 inch 4:3 format being a good median between the more difficult to read 7 inch, and the more difficult to hold 9.7 inch tablet. The herotab 816R2 and Bmorn V series have gotten good reviews.

I use a 7'' tablet and I cannot see my self with 9 or 10'' they are way to big for me. 8'' might be acceptable too but not so many in that size and the one I considered the price was much higher (better specs) but for the use I will give not worth the money

I used to feel the same way, especially when the original 10" tabs were really 10.2" and almost twice as thick as the iPad. However now, the tabs are are so slim and light that I would rather have it (9.7") with me than the 7.

I believe that the use of 7 or 10 are different
7 and useful to see if e-mail or sms to the sim data and surf the internet.
while 10 you can watch films working with various applications of text without tiring the eyes.

7 if you want the portability, 10 if you like 'em big for movies etc.

I find both sizes have their plus and minuses . I paid less for my Paladin and JXD together than I did for a 10.1" one bought a year ago, and find both useful.

Sent from my JXD S9000 using tapatalk

I played with a 10.1 for a while and then switched to 7.0. I really not enjoying the 7.0.

I am going back to the bigger screen as soon as I see one I like.
