Not exactly tablet apps, but the ones which are indispensable for me on my Android HTC Vision are : AdFree [ https://market.android.com/details?i...d.adfree&hl=en ] and DroidWall [ https://market.android.com/details?i...droidwall.free ]. Unfortunately, both of them require root privileges.

    Must-have Applications

    SwiftKey Tablet X

I think SwiftKey ist the BEST Keyboard you can have on Android.
SwiftKey analyze your typing habits and thereby predict your words before you type them.

    Springpad

Springpad is a free, very powerful and stylish organizer -

I was looking at the phone version of SwiftKey and found that 4.8 meg is a bit hefty for my uses.
I tried it and liked it.

You provide a link to a retail site? What tablet do you have?
